How Do We Start Fixing Growth Without Another Audit Sitting in a Folder?
Most teams already have an audit. It is a hundred and forty pages, it was written for a different company, and nobody knows which three fixes would pay for the engagement. A working session replaces that document with a decision, in twenty minutes, with the people who can actually make the change.
You do not need another document. You need a decision.
An audit tells you what is wrong with a website. It does not tell you which of the twelve things wrong with it is the reason your pipeline is soft this quarter. That is the only question that matters right now, and it is a twenty minute conversation, not a six week engagement.
We isolate the single leak that is costing you the most qualified pipeline right now, using the same twelve point taxonomy used in the full diagnostic.
We decide who has to change what, usually one engineer and one marketer, so the fix is not stalled in a group chat.
You leave with a short written brief, a measurement plan and a date. Not a slide deck.
What happens during the 20 minutes
What would have to be true for organic to stop being the reason pipeline is soft? You answer it in your words, not ours.
Live look at your site, your ranking set and your funnel. Usually one of twelve known leak types, and usually visible in under five minutes.
Rough revenue at stake, and rough time to fix, so you can rank it against everything else on the list.
Sent to you while we are still on the call: the bottleneck, the fix, the owner, the measurement and the date.
What to bring
| Bring | Why it matters | Bring it if |
|---|---|---|
| Your top three converting pages | Where revenue already lands, so we can see what is working before we judge what is not | Always |
| One number you are judged on | Qualified pipeline, demos, or pipeline per sales rep. We measure against the number that reaches your board | Always |
| A competitor you keep losing to | The fastest way to find out what they are ranking for that you are not | Usually |
| Access to your analytics | Search Console and the CRM. A screen share is enough, no exports needed | If you have it |
| One engineer | Half the time the fix is a build, and they should hear the fix while it is being described | If the fix is technical |
When a working session is the wrong answer
If you have never audited, or you do not know which pages matter, start with the free diagnostic. It ranks all twelve leak types and takes two days, not twenty minutes. Get the diagnostic
If the bottleneck is clear and nobody owns it, the problem is delivery, not diagnosis. That is a fractional engagement, not a session. See engagement models
Frequently asked questions
How long is the session really?
Twenty minutes. The booking link holds a twenty minute slot with a five minute buffer so the brief can be written while you are still on the call. If the answer needs longer, we book a second short session rather than overrun the first one.
Is this a sales call in disguise?
No. The first session is fixed scope: one bottleneck, one owner, one written brief. If it turns out you need ongoing work, that is a separate decision you make afterwards with a full price engagement in front of you.
What does it cost?
A working session is a paid, fixed scope conversation. The price is on the booking page. Engagements beyond the session are custom scoped after the diagnostic, and no retainer is published on this site.
Who should be on the call?
Whoever owns the number. A founder or CEO is ideal, a Head of Growth or CMO is ideal, and an engineer is ideal when the fix is technical. One person is enough if the other two are unavailable.
Will you look at our site before the call?
Only the public parts. If you share Search Console and CRM access on the call, that is where most of the value comes from.
What if you cannot find a bottleneck in twenty minutes?
Then you get a written note saying what we could not determine and what would be needed to determine it. That note is worth more than a guess.
Which B2B SaaS companies is this for?
Companies between two million and forty million dollars in annual recurring revenue with an existing product and a real sales motion. Advisory capacity is capped at two client teams per quarter, so there is a fit test.
Can we use the working session as a stand in for the diagnostic?
No, and we will say so on the call if that is what you are hoping. The diagnostic exists because some leaks need two days of crawling and log analysis to see properly.
Start with the bottleneck, not the channel
Twenty minutes, one named leak, one owner, one written brief. If a bigger engagement is not the right answer, we will tell you that on the call.
